Golf Simulator Space Requirement
iTrack measures golf ball flight data using a high-speed camera. Unlike radar launch monitors, it doesn't require the ball to travel a certain distance or the launch monitor to be placed a certain distance behind the ball. Therefore, using iTrack to build a golf simulator is the most space-efficient and convenient method; you simply place the iTrack in front of you. iTrack can be used not only indoors as a sensor for the simulator, but also, due to its portability, can be taken to the driving range or anywhere else. Because iTrack is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use, it can be applied to both artificial turf mats and natural grass.
For the best golf simulator experience, the recommended simulator space is:
(1)Height 10 feet (3m), minimum 9 feet (2.7m);
(2)Width 14 feet (5m), minimum 10 feet (3m);
(3)Depth 20 feet (6m), minimum 15 feet (4.5m).
iTrack hitting zone:
(1)Right-handed player
(2)Left-handed player
